Family, friends, Marines and military personnel are encouraged to contact us to request support for injured or ill Marines and Navy Corpsmen.
We then work behind the scenes to get necessary permissions to add the service member to the program. In addition to cards and letters for the Marine, we also provide support and resources to the families. Through the years, we've learned valuable information that we can pass on to the family members to help during this challenging time.
Wounded Marines are active duty personnel and as such are protected by the same security as any other Marine. Therefore, Marines and Navy Corpsmen are added to the program using first names only and all information is kept confidential.
If you are in a position to talk to the family of a severely wounded Marine facing a long recovery, please introduce the idea of Operation PAL to the family and encourage them to contact us.
