SSgt. Jeremy was wounded in April 2009 in Afghanistan by an IED blast. Both of his legs needed to be amputated and he sustained fractures to other bones as well. His wife Crissy says that they can use a lot of prayers and support.
Update: December 15, 2009 We have heard that Jeremy has been given the green light to visit home for Christmas. We don't know about you but this news brings tears of joy to our eyes. He continues to do rehab as his recovery continues and will pick up where he left off when he goes back to the hospital in January.
Update: 6/16/2010 from Jeremy's wife. She said he's doing very well, now walking on his new legs, most times without even a cane. Jeremy would like us to send the cards and letters to others that need them more than he does at this point.
They are very grateful for the prayers and heartfelt wishes from everyone, especially children who took time to draw pictures along with their notes.
