Kevin was injured during combat operations in Afghanistan. He has sustained burns to his arms and suffered leg injuries. He said he's been able to visit one of his buddies and that "I'm doing ok". He looks forward to cards and letters as I've been told his sister is the only family there at the hospital with him.
Update 06/09/2009 Our recent news from Kevin is that he has been walking since late fall. This past April, Kevin underwent surgery which gave him back full range of motion and he now is able to lift weights and run a mile! He is determined to get back to running a couple of miles. His burns are healing very well. Such great news!! Keep up the good work Kevin, we are with you every step of the way to make your goal!! Please send some good cheer and encouragement his way.
Update: 6/18/2010 Kevin has been recovering and has moved on to the next phase of his recovery. Your cards and letters have given much encouragement to him and you've helped get him to where he is now. Please choose another of our Marines to write to.
