Information and Updates for Sgt John with 2/8 1st CEB
Last Update: 9/8/2006             << Back to list

Operation PAL Participant Sgt John was injured on August 16th in Fallujah. He has a severly injured foot but it is expected to heal well over time. We are so pleased to report that he is currently at home to continue his recovery. Update: from his wife: "Thank you so much for all the support that you and the organization has given to our family. I certainly cannot believe its been that long since john was injured. He is doing well. He really has appreciated all the cards, letters and pictures that have been sent to him and our family since being with operation PAL. but he is now moving on to a new point in his recovery. He doesnt have email but wanted me to thank you for all the love and support from operation PAL, and from all the families who have treated us like their own. it really has meant so very much to hear from people who support our troops and want them know it! So you can remove John from the Operation PAL list for now.
The move went well and we are slowly but surely getting settled. we LOVE the house, its 100 times better than our last place on base and has lots of room for us and our daughter! She just turned three in December and I just love this age! She is just great.

Well, thank you so much again for everything. We couldnt have done it without the support of those who truly care for military families and all that we go thru sometimes. its been a blessing!"
